The other east-coast canyon Wadi Mibam sits just south of the famous Shab slot — a village in the longer, greener Wadi Tiwi, with date terraces and a road that does not like haste. We walk the water. We do not rush it into a same-day dash from Muscat.
Night at Tiwi The night is on the old coast road, between the wadi mouth and the Gulf of Oman. Morning light on the water, then on toward Sur.
